Stephanie Armstrong
Administrative Assistant
I am grateful to introduce myself as a member of the Bay Psychology team! I am currently pursuing a Master of Counselling Psychology in order to begin a career centered around mental health and supporting others. My interest in mental health has been present throughout my life, but the postgraduate certificate in Wellness Coaching and my new title of Resisted Health Coach inspired me to enroll in the master's program. I gained valuable experience working one-on-one with patients seeking health and wellness education during this program and my work as a research associate at The Hospital for Sick Children. It is extremely rewarding to see others live happier and healthier lives as a result of my work. My Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Health and Physical Education demonstrate my strong passion in health, wellness, and the welfare of others. Through my program and my work at Bay Psychology, I am excited to expand my knowledge and provide assistance to both the staff and clients.
I was a member of the Nipissing and Humber women's varsity volleyball teams and now continue my love for the sport by coaching youth teams. I enjoy being physically active and being outdoors. When I am not working or studying, I enjoy hiking with my two dogs, camping, outdoor sports, and paddle boarding on the lake.
